Who is Go Rental?

Go Rental is a leading car rental company in Jordan, collaborating with both multinational and local car rental companies to provide excellent value for our customers. With a fleet of over 200 cars, we offer convenient rental locations in Amman, Queen Alia Airport, and King Hussein Bridge. General Conditions

Your rental of any vehicle from Go Rental is subject to the following:

  - Go Rental's General Terms & Conditions are listed in the rental agreement.

  - The laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.


How to Book

At Go Rental, we've worked hard to make our website booking process as clear and simple as possible. To start, you need to know where you will pick up your car, where you want to drop it off, and the dates and times for your rental. Once you enter this information on our homepage, you'll see a list of available cars with descriptions and prices. Review the available options and choose the one that best meets your requirements. If you're satisfied with your selection, enter the driver's details, contact information, and flight information (if applicable).

What's included in the price

The website clearly outlines what is included and not included in the displayed price:


  - Free cancellation within 24 hours of booking

  - Unlimited mileage (exceptions may apply; please check the supplier's local terms and conditions)

  - Third-party liability insurance

Not Included:

  - Fuel

  - Credit card fee

  - Additional drivers

  - Optional extras (eg SATNAV, child seats)


Limited Availability Vehicles

Certain vehicles, such as people carriers and larger car types, are in high demand and have limited availability. During the booking process, we indicate these 'limited availability vehicles' with a red warning triangle and the words 'limited availability.'

To confirm availability, we require you to complete a booking request form and provide your credit card details. At this stage, we will verify that sufficient funds are available on your credit card, but no payment will be taken. This is a pre-authorization, where we temporarily hold the value of your booking on your credit card. Once availability is confirmed, we will proceed with the payment and send you a booking voucher and receipt via email. This process typically takes less than 48 hours. If we cannot confirm availability within 72 hours, we will cancel your request, and the pre-authorized amount will be automatically released by Go Rental. Please note that the release of the pre-authorized amount can take your bank 5-7 days.


Fuel Policies

You will receive the car with a full tank of fuel, and you must return it with the same amount of fuel.

Third-Party Liability Insurance

Go Rental provides basic insurance coverage for bodily injury and property damage to others. Only drivers aged 25 and above are covered; therefore, we cannot rent to anyone under 25.

Important Note: All insurance is void if the hirer or any named driver allows an unauthorized person to drive the car or violates the rental agreement. Go Rental will recover full damages incurred while the car is driven by an unauthorized driver or if the rental agreement is breached, from the hirer's credit card.


Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

All our prices include a Collision Damage Waiver, which reduces your liability in the event of an accident. The local terms and conditions specify the amount of excess you will be liable to pay in the event of damage or loss while the vehicle is rented to you.

Important Note: All insurance is void if the hirer or any named driver allows an unauthorized person to drive the car or violates the rental agreement. Go Rental will recover full damages incurred while the car is driven by an unauthorized driver or if the rental agreement is breached, from the hirer's credit card.



Drivers must be at least 25 years old and possess a valid driving license to rent from Go Rental.

In some cases, we can include one additional driver at the time of booking. If you wish to add more drivers, please arrange and pay for this when you collect your car.

How to pay for your booking

You may pay for your booking using the following methods: 

  - VISA Credit

  - VISA Debit

  - Mastercard

  - Cash in the office, on arrival.

We apply a credit card/debit card fee depending on the type of card used, which is clearly outlined during the booking process. Please note that we do not accept payment by cheque.


Changes to your booking

Amendments to your booking are complimentary. However, modifying any aspect of your reservation may affect the total price. If the revised booking cost exceeds the original, you will be responsible for the price difference.

Subject to availability and before the agreed start time of your rental, you may adjust the following:

  - Location

  - Start date/time (certain restrictions may apply)

  - End date/time

  - Vehicle type

You may also: 

  - Add a driver

  - Change a driver

  - Remove a driver

  - Changes after the rental has commenced

Subject to availability, after your vehicle has been collected you may: 

  - Extend the end date/time.


Cancellation of your booking

If you cancel your reservation within 24 hours of booking, Go Rental will issue a refund equivalent to the booking value, deducting non-refundable charges. Reservations canceled more than 24 hours after booking will not be eligible for a refund. Additionally, all cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled pick-up date and time are considered non-refundable.

Please Note:

  - Cancellations may take up to 10 working days to process and release.

  - Refunds may take 3-5 working days to process back onto your statement.

Regardless of the terms outlined in your rental agreement, your statutory rights to a refund remain unchanged. For additional details regarding your statutory rights, please reach out to your Local Authority, Trading Standards Department, or Citizen's Advice Bureau.

Non Refundable Charges

  - Credit and debit card charges are non-refundable.

  - Cancellation Option charges are non-refundable.


Cancellation Exceptions

In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond your control, such as:

  - Serious illness rendering the driver unable to operate the vehicle

  - Natural disasters (e.g., fire, flood)

  - Government actions or restrictions

  - War, civil unrest, or terrorism

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to offer a refund for the rental cost, minus an administrative fee. Supporting documentation may be required.

Your statutory rights to a refund remain unaffected by the terms of your rental agreement. For more information on your statutory rights, please contact your Local Authority, Trading Standards Department, or Citizen's Advice Bureau.


Website Errors

While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of all details, including prices, fees, surcharges, and taxes, displayed on our website, occasional errors may occur. Should we identify any discrepancies, including pricing inaccuracies, we will promptly notify you and offer the choice to either confirm the booking at the correct price or cancel it. If you opt for cancellation, you will receive a full refund. If we are unable to reach you, we will consider the booking canceled.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and representations, whether express or implied, regarding the accuracy of the information provided on our website. We shall not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from the use of such information, except in cases of death or personal injury caused by our negligence.


Collecting your car

When you collect your car you will need to present the following documentation:

  - Your Go Rental booking voucher

  - The driver's license for the driver and each additional driver (original documents only)

  - Photographic identification for each driver (original documents only)

  - A valid credit card in the driver's name to pay a deposit (see below)

Bookings with Go Rental are categorized by car type rather than a specific model, type, or color. Please consult our website for descriptions of available car types, including seating capacity and luggage space. While Go Rental strives to fulfill bookings according to the specified car type, there may be instances, due to operational requirements, where an alternative vehicle of equal or superior standard to the booked vehicle type may be provided.

When you collect your car you will be required to sign a Go Rental agreement.  Any additional purchases made after this has been signed will be your financial responsibility.

If you've opted for our Pay on Arrival option, the remaining balance will be settled at the rental location in Jordanian dinars (JOD) directly at the office.

To cover the excess liability in case of accidents, damage, or theft of the car, a deposit is required upon vehicle allocation. Please note that a vehicle will not be assigned until the deposit is received.

The deposit will be promptly refunded upon the return of your vehicle, provided it is returned in the same condition as when it was collected.

We highly recommend conducting a thorough inspection of the vehicle with a Go Rental representative both upon collection and return.


Returning Your Vehicle

Kindly ensure that you return your vehicle (along with any additional items) to the designated rental location at the agreed-upon end time, allowing ample time before your subsequent travel arrangements to complete the necessary end-of-rental procedures outlined below.

You are required to return the vehicle in the same condition as it was at the beginning of your rental period. It is essential to conduct a thorough inspection of the car with a representative present. Failure to do so may result in the inability to dispute any subsequent damage charges applied. Go Rental retains the exclusive authority to determine whether any damage incurred during your rental period constitutes fair wear and tear or is subject to charges as per the insurance provisions.

If you anticipate being delayed in returning your car, we recommend contacting our office at your earliest convenience. Please note that late return charges may be incurred if your vehicle is returned after the specified time and date indicated on your booking voucher.

Go Rental retains the right to reclaim your vehicle at your expense. In cases of prolonged delays in returning the vehicle, we reserve the right to report its unauthorized possession to the police.

Please Note:

We apologize for any inconvenience caused, but please note that our rental locations adhere strictly to the opening hours specified in the local terms, even in cases of transport delays or failures.

If your vehicle return is scheduled for the final hour of your rental location's operating hours, we advise allocating a minimum of 30 minutes to ensure a smooth return process.


Cross Border Travel

Please consult the local terms specific to your rental location to determine whether cross-border travel between countries or states is allowed and whether any associated charges may apply.


Local Driving Laws

Before your journey, we advise familiarizing yourself with the local driving regulations. Jordan's Automobile Association offers additional information to assist you.


Breakdown and Accidents

In case of any incident, including accidents, vehicle theft, or mechanical issues, please promptly report them to Go Rental by contacting our 24-hour hotline.

In the event of theft or an accident involving injuries to any party, it is imperative to notify the local police immediately. Ensure you obtain an incident or crime number along with a signed police report. Additionally, gather comprehensive details of third parties and witnesses, including their contact information and vehicle registration numbers.

Do not admit liability to any parties involved in the incident at the time of occurrence, especially in accidents involving third parties. Admissions of liability may result in potential liability on your part.

Please consult the local terms for any additional requirements regarding the reporting of incidents at your rental location.


The Legal Terms


Your rental may be terminated, and your vehicle repossessed (at your expense), should you seriously breach the terms of your rental agreement or if the rental supplier reasonably believes you are in serious breach.

Consequential Loss

We are liable for any losses you incur due to our breach of the terms outlined in the booking voucher, provided these losses are reasonably foreseeable consequences of our breach. Losses are deemed foreseeable if you and/or we could anticipate them at the time our agreement was established. However, we are not accountable for indirect losses that are not reasonably foreseeable by either party, such as loss of profits or missed opportunities.



If any provision within the terms of your rental becomes unenforceable, it shall not impact the validity or enforceability of the terms as a whole, nor of any other provisions therein.


Limitations on Liability and Law

We explicitly disclaim, to the fullest extent permitted by law, all warranties—whether expressed or implied by statute, custom, or usage—about the information provided on our website. Furthermore, we shall not be held liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, for any issues arising from the website or any interruptions or delays in accessing it.

We reserve the right to retain your card details, and by using our services, you authorize us to charge any amounts for which you are responsible. You agree to reimburse us for all claims arising from your failure to adhere to the terms of your rental agreement, including but not limited to the Go Rental Terms and Conditions, the local terms apply to your rental location, the booking voucher, and the terms of any associated insurance policies.

We hold no liability to you or third parties for any loss or damage incurred during your rental period unless such loss or damage stems from our negligence, violation of the terms outlined in these Terms and Conditions, or any breach of our statutory obligations.

We are not responsible for any belongings left in the vehicle or damaged while inside it.


Your obligations as a customer

You agree that: 

  - You, as the hirer of the vehicle, will remain liable for any offenses, penalties, or fines incurred under relevant local road traffic laws until the vehicle is returned to the rental supplier.

  - If Go Rental incurs any penalty charges for offenses committed while your vehicle is rented to you, Go Rental reserves the right to deduct these charges (along with any associated administration fees) from your card, withhold your deposit, or provide your details to the relevant authorities.

  - Throughout your rental period, you are responsible for the vehicle by the terms outlined in this agreement, the booking voucher, and the local terms applicable to your rental location. It is also your responsibility to ensure that any drivers and additional drivers adhere to these agreements and their respective terms and conditions.

  - The information provided by you is accurate, and all significant details that could reasonably influence insurance coverage or the decision to proceed with your vehicle rental agreement have been disclosed. Providing false, misleading, or inaccurate information could void insurance coverage and potentially expose you to unlimited liability to third parties.
